Private celebrations in a 5-hectare estate near Bordeaux.

Some occasions deserve more than a venue rented by the hour. A milestone birthday. An anniversary you finally celebrate ten years late. Friends gathered for one last unmarried night. A family that hasn't been under one roof in a decade. For those, Lost In Sensations becomes your estate. Five hectares of forest, thirty minutes north of Bordeaux. Six insolite accommodations. Three reception halls. A heated pool open year-round. Four jacuzzis running through the night. Everything privatized. Everything yours, for as long as it needs to last.

Six ways to celebrate here

Some moments deserve more than a rented hall. A milestone birthday, a family reunion, an anniversary dinner, a hen weekend, a graduation party, or simply a gathering of the people you love most: Lost In Sensations gives you a private 5-hectare estate entirely at your disposal.

Choose your evening. A garden party with live music and a fire pit. A gourmet dinner under the stars. A wellness weekend with jacuzzis, massages, and conversations that last until dawn. A festival-style celebration with cocktails, dancing, and a swim by torchlight.

You bring the guest list. We bring everything else.

1 / Birthdays

The 18th that needs to feel like a beginning. The 30th that turns the page. The 40th, 50th, 60th, or 70th that no longer fits inside a restaurant in town. The forest opens, the great hall fills, the heated pool stays warm. Dinner under the pines, a dance floor that lasts as long as you do, a jacuzzi when everyone else has gone to bed. Surprise parties welcome. Children optional. A milestone birthday on a private estate near Bordeaux, the way you've been picturing it for years.

2 / Hen weekends

A hen weekend that doesn't end at 2am in a cocktail bar. A bachelorette the bride will actually remember. Massage cabin in the morning, lunch in jars under the pines, sauna in the afternoon, jacuzzi at midnight. The whole estate is yours: pool, salons, gardens, hammock forest. No matching tee-shirts, no strangers at the next table, no Bordeaux club queue at 1am. Whether you call it a hen do, a hen party, or a bachelorette weekend, this is the version everyone wants but no one usually finds.

3 / Stag Weekends

The estate is yours, fully. Sauna and four jacuzzis running twenty-four seven. Drone racing through the pinewoods if you want the adrenaline, a rum masterclass if you want depth, a poker night in the Gatsby Suite if you want both. Whether you call it a stag do, a stag weekend, or a bachelor party, nobody is checking on you. Whisky, cigars, silence. Or music until dawn. The closest neighbours are five hundred metres away through the trees.

4 / Family reunions

Three generations under one canopy. Four if you're lucky. A garden for the little ones, a heated pool for the swimmers, a fire pit for the storytellers. Shared birthdays, golden anniversaries, baptisms, christenings, every reason to gather a family on a private estate near Bordeaux. The kids run free in five hectares of forest and pile into the Yurt at bedtime. The grandparents take the Riviera Suite. The cousins fight over the Bubble Tents.

5 / Anniversary Celebrations

Ten years. Twenty-five. Fifty. The dates that deserve more than a quiet dinner downtown. Come back as two in the Bubble Tents, fall asleep under the stars, and rewrite the night you first celebrated. Or bring the children, the parents, the witnesses from the day. The great hall seats one hundred and fifty for dinner, the accommodations sleep the closest twenty. Wedding anniversary, vow renewal, golden anniversary, anniversary dinner: every kind of return belongs here.

6 / Private gatherings

Some occasions don't have a name yet. A retirement that deserves more than a speech in an office cafeteria. A graduation that closes a chapter. A baby shower the size of an actual party. A reunion of friends who haven't been all in the same room since university. A milestone you decide for yourself. Whatever the reason, the estate listens. We build the evening around what it means to you, not what it's called.

Picture the weekend: three real programs

A torchlit dinner, a dawn jacuzzi, a bonfire that lasted past midnight. Three weekends, three rhythms, one estate. The version you're imagining is somewhere between them.

A 24-hour hen weekend

Friday 4pm. Arrivals through the forest road. Welcome coupe in the great hall. The bride's keys to the Bubble Tent, everyone else picks a room. 6pm. Massage cabin opens. Two cabins, twenty minute slots, whoever wants in. 8pm. Dinner in jars under the pines. Long table, candlelight, no rush. Midnight. Jacuzzi. Sauna. Or both. Saturday 10am. Brunch by the pool. Coffee, sourdough, fresh fruit, slow conversations. Noon. Yoga session in the salon, or a swim, or a nap. 4pm. The estate gates open again.

A milestone birthday evening

Friday 6pm. Welcome cocktail in the garden. Live trio if you want music, silence if you don't. 8pm. Gastronomic dinner in the great hall. 150 seats, signed menu, custom from the first conversation. 11pm. Dance floor. The hall transforms. DJ optional. 2am. Jacuzzi for those still standing. Cigars on the terrace for the others. Saturday 10am. Brunch in the salon. The closest twenty guests slept on the estate. The rest drift back.

A family reunion long weekend

Friday 7pm. Casual welcome dinner, three generations around one table. The kids run between the pinewoods. Saturday 10am. Pool, hammock forest, free time. Bicycles available. Saturday 1pm. Long lunch in the garden, four hours, twelve courses if you want. Saturday 6pm. Group photo by the great hall. The kind everyone will frame later. Saturday 9pm. Bonfire and storytelling. Marshmallows, blankets, the youngest cousins asleep on the older ones. Sunday 11am. Slow brunch. Goodbyes that take all afternoon.

Five hectares. Six universes. Yours, fully.

A private 5-hectare estate near Bordeaux, set between Bordeaux city centre and Saint-Émilion. Built to host celebrations from six guests to three hundred. Full estate privatisation is the standard, not the upgrade. No corridors to share. No other guests to avoid. The forest, the halls, the pool, the jacuzzis, the kitchen, the silence at 3am: all yours, from check-in to last goodbye.

70th birthday weekend

We did Maman's 70th here in June. Thirty-eight of us, the great hall, the pool, the bonfire at midnight. She still talks about the moment her grandchildren brought out the cake under the pines. The estate didn't feel like a venue. It felt like ours for the weekend.
