Welcome to Lost In Sensations - Terms and Conditions

Confirmation of Your Reservation

Full payment is made upon booking to prepare your exceptional stay in a suite, room, bubble, yurt, or lodge.

Cancellation and Payment

Should you unfortunately need to cancel, here are our cancellation terms:

Up to 14 days before: we offer to reschedule your stay to a later date.
Less than 14 days before arrival: we unfortunately cannot proceed with a refund or rescheduling.

Lost In Sensations may have to cancel in cases of absolute necessity; such rare situations will result in a full refund.

Your Arrival and Departure

Your personalized welcome is scheduled from 4 PM.
Departures are no later than 12 PM, with the option of a late checkout until 2 PM, subject to availability, for a supplement of €30.

Damages

We invite you to take care of our unique space. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear to accommodations, buildings, or equipment will be subject to appropriate charges.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of €1,500 is required in the form of a pre-authorization. This amount is not held by Lost In Sensations and will not be charged unless there is damage. The pre-authorization is usually released by your bank within 3 to 10 business days. Any missing items, linens, or bedding will be charged.

Non-Smoking

Lost In Sensations is a non-smoking establishment, including traditional and electronic cigarettes. Smoking/vaping is therefore prohibited in all buildings and accommodations. A fee of €300 will be applied in case of non-compliance. However, you may smoke outside, provided it does not disturb other guests.

Occupancy and Pets

We reserve the right to terminate the contract immediately if the number of guests exceeds the agreed number.

Each additional person, within the respective limits of each accommodation, is charged at €50 per adult/night and €30 per child/night.

Pets are welcome only with authorization, for an additional fee of €30.

Food and Beverages

We offer a complete culinary experience. Bringing personal drinks or food is therefore not allowed. If otherwise, a corkage fee of €50 per bottle and an external food fee of €50/meal will be applied.

Cleaning

A light cleaning service is provided for stays of more than one night. A full cleaning is available upon request, for an additional charge of €75.

Dispute Resolution

We commit to resolving any issues quickly to ensure your peace of mind during your stay. In case of a dispute, our liability is limited to the cost of your stay, excluding ancillary expenses and services. Legal disputes will be governed by the laws of France and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gironde.

Force Majeure

In case of natural disasters or unforeseeable human-origin events, we will offer you to reschedule your stay to a later date of your choice or a full refund as per the conditions.
